L’Hospitalet de Llobregat i twirling formen un binomi d’èxit des de fa molts anys i quedarà novament demostrat aquests dies durant el 12è Twirling Spanish Open. Una magnífica ocasió per gaudir amb l’espectacle i els valors que ens ofereix aquest esport. 

El rècord de participació de l’edició passada, amb més de 400 esportistes de 9 països, va deixar el llistó molt alt, però estic convençut que el Club Twirling L’Hospitalet lluirà la seva capacitat organitzativa i de treball per assumir un nou repte i convertir la cita un altre cop en una festa internacional del twirling.

Celebrar per 12è any una prova com aquesta té molt mèrit i cal felicitar l’entitat per donar l’oportunitat a joves esportistes de diversos països de competir entre ells, adquirir experiències personals enriquidores i contribuir a fer créixer aquesta modalitat tan arrelada al municipi, alhora que promou l’esport com una eina de cohesió social i promotora d’hàbits saludables.

Aquest Trofeu Ciutat de L'Hospitalet, però, també ajuda a posicionar Catalunya al món com una potència esportiva de primer nivell. Té impacte en l’economia, el turisme i la projecció de país, de manera que dona sentit a l’aposta de Departament d’Esports, en el marc del projecte Esport360, per celebrar esdeveniments arreu del país que tenen retorn social i econòmic, i que converteixen l’esport en motor de valors, transformació, progrés i prosperitat.

Gràcies a un constant creixement i al reconegut prestigi continental, la competició que viurem aquests dies al Complex Esportiu de L'Hospitalet Nord és un exemple d’aquest compromís, compartit per l’entitat organitzadora, i vull agrair el suport de les entitats públiques i privades que fan equip perquè puguem viure-la cada any.

Acabo desitjant una bona estada als clubs i famílies vingudes d’arreu, que els esportistes ens facin vibrar amb el seu talent sobre la pista i que gaudeixin de l’hospitalitat i els atractius de Catalunya, un país que cada dia mostra a través de l’esport i l’activitat física la seva vocació oberta i integradora.

La participation record de la dernière édition, avec plus de 400 athlètes de 9 pays, a placé la barre très haute, mais je suis convaincu que le Club Twirling L'Hospitalet fera preuve de sa capacité d'organisation et de travail pour relever un nouveau défi et faire de l'événement une fois de plus une fête virevoltante internationale.

 

Célébrer un test comme celui-ci pour la 12e année a beaucoup de mérite et il faut féliciter l'organisation d'avoir donné aux jeunes athlètes de divers pays l'opportunité de rivaliser entre eux, d'acquérir des expériences personnelles enrichissantes et de contribuer à la croissance de cette modalité si enracinée dans la municipalité, tout en promouvant le sport comme outil de cohésion sociale et en promouvant des habitudes saines.
